Jan. 20th, 2012 11:06 pmSo today I avoided the nemesis utterly and things were so much the better for it. She oddly didn't google-smart herself in class, and a couple times this week she's gotten the "umm no" from profs. She was a demanding little bossypants in gem lab but she was someone ELSE'S problem.
Went to the ref library: under construction, and all the catalog computers are on the 3rd floor, and the signs to the washroom are completely in the wrong direction, and they had nothing of what I needed. ( G had shoved a piece of paper in my hand to "look up this book!" and when i looked it was only search words. Um. gee. Like I couldn't figure THAT out?)
R found some stuff on google-book search and its at least something booky I can use. We have a really obscure topic.
But the stress level was WAY off when she isn't glomping on me. We had to group up for a gemmology project and I paired up fast, so she had to go in search of a new batch of victims. There's few people in the class she hasn't just utterly and profoundly offended on some level.
Went for korean bbq with R, passed out for three hours, and still exhausted. Going into the studio sunday to finish 2 rivets and work on getting some other work moved out of the way.
Now onto writing. DOing test scenes with all the main character cast, trying to narrow down to 2-3 voices. I'd LIKE to do just one, but in this case it doesn't seem likely. third? we'll try too.
Song for the day: Ultraviolet: A Sea of Purity. ( oddly yes, lots of the songs I like reference the sea, and the main character finds solace near the oceans, and I just have an affinity myself. its a pretty little piece of music) I do tend to think of it for one specific character, who isn't quite so at ease with her immortal state as the rest.
