So today Genessa snares me at the break to breathlessly demand to know if I've done anything in research for this project.

I haven't. Mostly because I find myself not giving a rats ass. And because anything I mention doing or knowing is being shot down in flames.

I've BEEN to the museums where these pieces are, I know a bit about them. She brushes me off.

I say I'll go to the reference library, she goes "Oh they probably don't have anything" and I think well, OK. Then she hands me a book title to look up at the reference library. The one she poopoo'd my going to.

Today again she was gushering over photos. I KNOW I took some that aren't likely on archive, and besides, I TOOK EM WE CAN USE EM. and she shot that down before I could even finish the statement, to which i said "GENESSA>I WAS ONLY SAYING I HAD PHOTOS" and walked away from her quicklike.

She was sniffing back tears all through demo and left early and good fucking riddance. I'm sorry I seem to have to make you fucking cry. but cripes she just will NOT listen to anyone, because no one the world is so SUPER ENLIGHTENED perfect and wonderous as she is.

Next week, i'm talking to some people because I can't work with this psychobitch.

Ok aside from the extra-headsplitting of G ( and I am like seriously in godzilla level PMS)

Doing some test writing in multiple POV for the second book. I'm just gonna assume all my readers are of brains sorts, and can handle it. Its a struggle and it shouldn't be.

Song for today VNV Nation: Beloved. I really think my immortal characters see their mortal lovers and companions as something to be adored, cherished, loved. If that person ensures your existence isn't a cold, hungry one, you're going to wind up being quite nice to them. ( not coddling or creepy but...deeply appreciative)
