Met one of my neighbors today who graciously held the elevator for me. Hahahah. holding the elevator here. Where i think I've YET to ever wait more than 3 minutes. I mean, i don't even have time to glance at the "news" screen that's there to amuse while we wait.

And I dont have to be crawled on, or jammed in like a sardine, no one's ramming cargo into me.

Dude was Oh, that one elevator's SO SLOW. It is, marginally, but I said dude, wellesley towers. 33 floors. 4 elevators. one working.

He laughed.

But oh how I love living where I'm not trapped in my apartment, where getting out and walking dog and doing errands isn't this monumental fucking time suck.

Seriously, of all the places in canada I've lived i love this place the most. The kitchen's kind of yarghhh!! small!!! but eh, we hardly use it.

I'm so much more relaxed now that I'm not being half crushed in elevators.

Ah, wnen will people learn gun rights are also matched with "gun responsibilities". free speech also comes with the horrible truth that if you in jest slather up target and gun based rhetoric, you might be seen condoning action of that sort.

It was really only a matter of time, I think. Its such bullshit. It needs to stop. We're adults.

Happier for me: stepdown of prednisone and no thunderous headache yet. Slept a fuckton today, catching up I guess from the major sleep dep.

Well enough that I might just brave the maul tomorrow to find something to wear at Kacey's weddin! Anyone up to do a girly shopping run? I'm hopeless.

Going to get most of my portfolio assembled this week, order transcripts. GBC is aggravatingly vague on the deadline for portfolio apps. GRAR.

i have a wee set of justice league kinder egg figurines now too. only missing one dude of the 4. I have no clue, they're just kinda neat.
