The newish, new to me Ghost and Writer album is crazygood. Like burned into my brain obsessive good.

I'd listen to that singer recite a menu, or a phone book. Keep talkin pretty boy.

Downside, they broke up after that album.
Upside: he sings in multiple projects and they're all good too. ( seabound, edge of dawn and I think a couple others.)

I like CXS but mostly the older stuff since Rogue hit this weird patch of the last albums sounding identical and doing mostly mythology based feel -good anthem stuff. I know he's better than that and it frustrates me. I want to like their work now, but i just dont.

Dig G&W/Seabound/EOD's tendency to really creepy, cool, film noir lyrics. I don't need a steady diet of formulaic anthem-rock.

I'm waiting on a couple other bands new work coming soon. I don't get a lot of time to listen to stuff unless I'm at the bench.

( and oh, Welcome to Night Vale. I'm late to the party on that but it's some great wild and strange storytelling.)

Oh dear small boy what did you have against sleep tonight?

And nice job grabbing the blanket I was about to swaddle you in, and then giggling like the devious little imp you are. You're a clever little lad. You knew what was up.

Took Stirling to the aquarium today, so that R could get his annual pass. Ah the perks of the pass. The lineup for tickets was HOURS deep. Passholders: go right in. I get that not everyone can afford the perk or want to, but damn I love it. One more visit and my pass has paid itself for the next 12 months.

Stirling seems to be so enthralled there and it's fun. I love it. It'll be a great winter escape for the day too. It was insanely mobbed today but I mean, weekend, it's only been open less than a month? and funny, how people gritched that it just wouldn't draw people. The ticket prices are somewhat steep, but hell it seems to be a success.

Stopped for lunch at the TIFF canteen mmgnocchi and lamb so tender it was in shreds. So GOOD. Then we decided to get a humidifier for Stirling since the dry air in here in winter gives him this apparent wee little "kaff kaff!" He's currently passed LE fuck out, rosy cheeks and all worn from his day. Daddyio had to carry him half way as he wanted to be cuddled, and see the city.:D

Tomorrow, studio. Next weekend get hair cut because i cannot stand this mop anymore.

my aunt sent us, and her son who lives in TO, a gift parcel from ireland and do you think i could get in touch with her slackass son to give him his stuff? I tried once and gave up. Its on him to get in touch.

She also added me to a singer's mailing list. WTF. People, learn to internets respectfully. don't do that shit.
