Nov. 5th, 2013 12:50 amwelp. Might only do two courses next term and that's it, if R doesn't help me find childcare. He seems rather indifferent to the process at all, and it's hardly like you can email or call and find a spot just like that.
I made some inquiries via email tonight and asked him to make a few as well, but beyond some halfassed poking at websites he doesn't seem to have done much.
So I might not finish my diploma, which sucks, or I go back in a year to take two classes? I don't know. (they're only offered in second term)
Hopped on the gyn's office some more. They gave my referral to the busiest doc there. Brilliant, really. got drill bits and a new set square since mine's gone walkabouts.
had someone hiss at me "THAT"S DANGEROUS" as I expertly navigated stroller in one hand, latte in the other. Told the dude to get a grip.
Told off a woman who was gritching about the crowded elevator when I pointed out there's escalators not too far off. "people have feet. they can walk." She said "not all of us." but um, to get to that elevator does require actual walking or wheelchairing and you're not caned, wheelchaired, or otherwise impaired, ergo, I think you might be a lazy tit. Just maybe. The escalator isn't THAT far away. Go on.
And then the fucking photo dept at the store, I printed two separate orders, and pickup in an hour. I come back three hours later and I can only find one. They can't figure out the two orders. I wait. Turns out they printed both and jammed them in one envelope but didn't indicate this, so they reprinted the second one for me.
Its like places..people just really half assed the job today.
At least I'm not the woman who had her appt rescheduled and comes in after confirming the reschedule only to be told she missed her appt because no one updated it in the system in the first place. Man, I thought there was going to be bloodshed at the gyn's office. Holy fuck they're disorganised.
