My sterling silver wire and strip order was held at customs for three days so instead of it being delivered like I expected, it's sometime next week.

Studio closed this weekend which means I won't have time to get to using the new supplies much this tuesday ANYWAY. Feh. Damn customs.

Took the Bug to the ROM, checked out their new textiles/costuming exhibit which I had assumed came and left while I was sick. It was a PD day for the schools so the museum had "kids day" which meant crazy mobbed. I got there and I see like, swarms of strollers and kids...I stayed away from most of the maniacal crowds because bug isn't quite fully vaccinated and I'm more concerned about little disease carriers not adults. ( being that the trend is the affluent urban parents tend to eschew vaccination, the assholes, and the ROM isn't exactly a cheap excursion. We have a membership.) some kids were just wound the fuck up racing around the exhibits and the parents half arsedly trying to rein them in. Most kids were good, but a few kids I swear must have mainlined kiddy crack of some kind.

Was woken this am when R put Stirling on the bed next to me so I rolled over and played kissyface with Stirling and nomming on his fingers which triggered rolling belly laughs from the small boy. It was a sweet start to the day. Heh. He's just so laugh-ey.

Browsed at ROOTS on the way home but they don't have much for boys, never mind boys infant, but they had scads for baby girls/toddler girl. Nothing I'd pay the ROOTS price for at any rate. There's an infant peacoat that's at old navy and i have a ten bucks off coupon so I might get that for the bug for the coldest of days.NOt sure what size since it's 3-6 which would get us to december, or 6-9 for the second half of winter...probably 6-9 i suppose.

Tomorrow we're back at the AGO for the Bowie exhibit, and brunch with Joel because I have stuff his parents sent him from their month long trip to Ireland. Sunday we're going to hop the TTC to Target and I have a faint hope they might have some cute baby halloween gear.

Averaging walking 4-5 miles a day with the fitbit tracker on the days we go venturing, 2-3 on the days we stay home. Started working on the Laundry Everest tonight and I'm going to try to get it all tackled in the coming week. Dishes aren't piled up, garbage and recyc aren't taking over. finally getting a grip on the house.

Writing again, and doing a few custom orders of chain work here and there. Perpetual juggling act.
