Mar. 2nd, 2013 10:42 pmWent for breakfast with R, which vastly improved my cooped up brain's mood. Comped it, no less. I love that place, they treat us well and we go there practically every weekend and sometimes, our meal is comped.:D
Detagged all the baby stuff and folded and re organized the shelves of it, and we have enough if we plan on doing laundry twice a week ( no) so I think we need to top up the stash. I still have the second GC, and this time I'll go pick out a swank diaper bag because they're useful with useful features and my bags? I don't want to risk ruining hahahaha.
Feeling somewhat ill today which isn't good but on new meds too that offset the vicious side effects of the anti nausea meds, so that's one less issue to deal with. No stretch marks, fortunately they don't run in our family either. I may wind up lean and mean at dcon post baby. A small reward for the misery, really. And the baby. But it might feel like I come out ahead on two fronts and that's cool.
I'm pretty ok with having a boy now. We have some awesome clothes, and we weren't shopping the girlygirl stuff anyway, and its all good with me. i had a few days mope over it, but I'm over it now.
novel: I have to obliterate one scene that's blocking progress, and re do it, and the novella will be finished soon, just need to be NOT sick.
but had a run of better days and things seem to be slowly stabilizing so maybe we're getting somewhere. We talked over breakfast of a dream RTW trip when the kid's 7-9, and stuff like a transatlantic sailing on the Qe2, and I'm totally down with the netherlands when they're almost a yr old. It makes me feel like life isn't completely derailed. I can't give up my wanderlusty ways!
Only 6 weeks of classes left. Holy schmokes. I have one class to do for the next term, and the last one is nearly FT, which will be a challenge childcare wise but its only 4 months so we'll manage. It really depends on how my schedule falls together. PT nanny perhaps. Probably too late to get on daycare lists if we don't know what we need yet, and R can work from home if its 2-3 days a week anyway.
