Oma hasn't been feeling well for a bit. Over the years tho, she's gotten downright MEAN, but now that she's physically ill, she started demanding people rush over on a moments notice, demanding to go to the ER, when she didn't need to. Everyone got fed up with her "crying wolf" so when she REALLY did need the ER...

She picks Drumheller, not Calgary or Strathmore, ( DRUMHELLER?) We don't know anyone in Drum. Calgary's just as close, if not 20 min closer. She doesn't like Strathmore hospital. Ok. Neither do I. But DRUM?

So now everyone's gotta go THAT much further...

Anyway. Oma's home and property are probably worth somewhere in the million or so's, and two of my aunts are certain to be in like vultures the instant she draws her last breath, if they're not already circling round.

The best thing for oma would be to sell it all and go back to the netherlands, but she won't and they're trying to get her on some anti depressants. hahah good luck. Mom's already on anti anxiety meds and antidepressants over all this bullshit. My aunts have been fucking useless, Oma's sons help, but Val and Marlies are nigh on fucking useless shitbags in my eyes. I'm the only grandkid who calls. A couple occasionally visit but...yeah.

Basically her heart meds made her retain fluid around her heart. So they have that fixed.

I'm a tad pissed no one bothered to mention she was in hospital, but I'm also pissed that everyone's gone fucking batshit back on the prairies.

Add in for me a particularily aggravating language class, and deciding fuck the diet,i'm so fucking SICK of baked chicken breast, and salad, and gorged on mc'ds. I'll pay for it at the gym. Wanted red meat.
