Jun. 5th, 2012 12:15 amLife is just hectic. I still re-upped my account here for another year. I'll be here probably till the bitter end. Old habits die hard.
Dinners out, a festival event sunday, dinner with classmates tonight, and oh..yeah..a shooting on saturday, three blocks away.
of course this just means toronto's full of shitty gangsters right? It was a targeted hit, and the theory floated is the random shootings were a distraction to escape. Fortunately, only one fatality in a crowded shopping center.
Its not like this is endemic to the city. For the most part, I see more good here than bad. Someone stops to say hi to sera, and we chat. little things. I dunno. To say it's JUST toronto negates some of the more constant crime in halifax, or vancouver. The reality is, where there's large cities...there still is no place in canada I'd rather be.
working on merch. working on some life issues. working on writing. so much to do, so little time, it feels like. I just keep running and some days things get accomplished.
