Mar. 19th, 2012 02:10 amOk, my weekend...went into it feeling just sick and stressed and off kilter. I mean, yes, friday was 57 flavors of awesome with Ipad....still ill.
I finally caved and got some antacids ( the chewy ones are no longer, do not care for the oogly crunchy ones) and that made a huge difference. finally able to eat food. Thank the pregnancies for that slice of hell. I never had heartburn till that happened, now its an issue.
Wrote. wrote more. studied. WROTE like a fiend. Made jewelery. It was a good weekend, all in all. 4 weeks left of classes, and I'm not in some crisis spot with work. Monday as usual, will suck, but I'm not stressed overall.
Song for sat: Edge of Dawn: Pray for love, Sunday: Raindancer: come with me. ( digging the first one, singer's voice hits this weak in the knees thing for me in the chorus. *swoon*. Im a dork, what of it?. The sunday one, less dark than EOD but has some catchy brain thing going on.
Started a byz bracelet playing with some square wire rings! and round reg rings! awesome. And got a snotload of gorgeous boro beads for beaded bracelets. Things good. life good.
Writing: still working on the novella, and think it'll be strictly e-book for all your illicit bedtime reading. No one has to know on the subway you're reading kink.
Upside, if you could anticipate it, is that its getting my writing pushed to the level I wanted it to be, the main books will be dialed down a notch, but I was always frustrated by the feeling I'd pulled punches, and so I'll go back and do some work on a few spots before the art rolls in.
I should be asleep, but the dragonbelly heartburn woke me. Blerf.
discovered today that while starbucks is my first coffee love, working in their cafes is a non-plan. its crowded, the music's blasting and there's always a table of people who HAVE TO USE OUTDOOR VOICES! seriously, its the noisiest starbucks I've ever been at. So I legged it to the second cup for a few hours.
