New ipad soon. Yay. dreaming of ditching the netbook by summer with a massive technology overhaul of the house ( I inherit R's old mac,).

By monday the dramasharks will be off on another victim. funny how they come a runnin when they need ME to answer something or help but they won't actually TALK to me otherwise.

Tomorrow, last half of the practical where I make a bail for the pendant, clean up some filing, clean up the pendant and lo. done. Apparently farther ahead than quite a few and I need to have a mellow head for soldering. ( upside on all my assignments I get raves of how beautiful soldering i do.)

I'm not floundering off in the badlands like so many of my classmates. I was worried this term I'd be deep in it, but consistently my marks are higher other than one EPIC project failure of a small one, and so far, generally above average and that's without wheedling extra extensions or metal.

Early day tomorrow too. friday: gemmology. then a weekend.:D

And only 6 weeks of dealing with these goddamn fucking lunatics. I wouldn't hire em. They can't formulate a work plan, they flake, they bail they need every last step spelled out for them.

practical exam went well. things that I normally don't get perfect, miraculously went perfectly.

The harridan crew stepped up their campaign with snide looks of distaste for my existence and a note on the whiteboard about respect and accountability.

Yes. Because nothin says respect like a gang-up in the women's loo to demand answers, but not let me have my say. And then every sundry person who wasn't involved directly, demand answers on FB messenger too. If they were the least bit interested in accountability, they'd let me speak but like I said, they have their story written, and there's nothing for me to say.

Its just fucking stupid. What do you want me to do, girls? You won't LET me speak. Now I choose NOT to, because you don't deserve my respect, and it doesn't matter what I say.

And it drives them fuckin bonkers. :D oh yes. Its probably right out of the passive aggressive but I've dealt with people like this before. They want MY answers. I am not speaking. you want a power struggle toots? you got it. I'm not some child to be ordered around. If anyone wants accountability, tech office or the profs can speak with me. Oh, wait, they haven't! shocker.

Nano arrived today, and in two weeks, ipad. I don't know when R is upgrading the computer on his desk, but it'll migrate to me. The nano? it was part of the recalled first gens, and I got this one in the swap out of recalls. I'm a-drownin in i-technology. I don't even consider myself an Apple acolyte of any kind. I do appreciate at this point having technology that I'm not constantly battling, and we planned on retiring the netbook anyway. The ipad is Sort of occupying that place, the nano will live at the studio more or less.

Weather's getting warmer. Bead show next weekend. Daniel Lanois show the week after. Class workload under control! and some good feedback from a prof on my design work. Aside from the ShitPie that has gone down this week, I'm fuckin happy man.

R found some pics from LA, around 2006 where I was around 125-130. OH HOW I MISS THAT BODY.

So I guess tomorrow after class I'll go get some decent gym shoes. I think I mowed off a couple thousand calories today in that practical, I was sweaty when done!

Nano has a pedometer thingy too. Should be interesting. Alas things like bodybugg's don't work in canada with the online networky stuff? so no go on that.

Gonna veg with some writing ideas, finished a new pale pink glossy wallet chain, have new things to list this weekend, and maybe cut a size 5 silver ring for a custom piece. Pull some wax models tomorrow.
