Ok, maybe 5 weeks left of classes. I can do this.

Got a frackload done, even if it still isn't enough. By this week I should be caught up enough to have my weekends back.

So glad i'm in the 2 yr not 3 program. I am so over academia at this point.

Got laundry done, got a ring order in, got most of my tech drawing assignment done, got a powerpoint done, left to do to catch up: polish 2 sterling rings, and start a brass trinket box this week, and polish a wonky brass heart. All within the realm of finishable this week and then whatever they assign this week, I'll have a clean slate not backlogged.

Again, I wish they'd focus a bit on understanding we can't smash this work out perfectly every time, and that we're learning. Some of the projects were just pointlessly idiotic and drained off time from real skill dev.

Would I have registered for this if I'd known? Maybe. Maybe not. I might have looked for alternate ways to get the skills, perhaps. Ah well. We're 1/4th in, so might as well just keep on. By the time 2nd year rolls around I'll be used to working without any instructor help anyway since I've been doing so from go.

Gonna go do a token 500 words and then crash. So flipping exhausted.
