My mom sent me an eek! what`s happened message on FB.

Sigh. The woman who forcibly, repeatedly sent me pics of daegan, and pestered me about getting too old to have kids so get on it?

I have learned to separate myself somewhat from her dingbat ways, because as much as she probably doesn`t mean to hurt me, she just blunders around rather cluelessly.

I explained, everyone babies babies babies, and bluntly so, I said I was tired of people telling me that the travel was some equal consolation prize bla bla.

She replied back that she had watched several co workers of hers, who are my age, struggling with the same and how she understood how difficult and heartbreaking it is. I guess it only registers on her radar if OTHER people suffer, not me. Once she sees someone else get hit with it, then she gets how it might be for me. Sigh.

My mother is not what I`d call at first thought, `selfless`. She`s a bit like a watered down sarah palin, minus the republican tardballery, but just empty headed and not thinking before speaking. Same sort of durr-hee hee!

Anyway. Moving on. It just sort of astounds me and yet I don`t expect anything different.

we finally went out shopping today, new hoodie for me, ( my roots one was nearing its end of its useful life after being worn to bits) and a shirt to wear at the wedding, and a pair of pants that while sort of sit weird on my lizardbelleh, also make my ass look amazing. A longer shirt to cover the belly, and no one`s really much the wiser.

Couldn`t find any non-dressy pants, I guess they`re not on the racks yet, but at least my wardrobe is looking less decimated. I just haven`t kept up buying stuff at the pace I was tossing stuff.

Gonna go do some work now, and tomorrow back at the gym ( legs look a little less jello-ey) and I pretty much said `TO HELL!!!`with the diet this last week. Onwards.

travel soon. Specialist soon. Things happening soon. I really need to put the baby issue aside till after travel, really.
