I swear if I didn't need this blackberry for 2 more weeks I'd take a hammer to it right now.

It randomly reboots, the trackball stops and starts working, the apps WILL NOT UPDATE, and calls drop, or sometimes I can hear them, they can't hear me or vice versa and if another call comes in if I'm on, the phone goes "AHA, drop both!"

R claims its me and technology, but I believe its just this damn phone never wanted to BE a phone. It does less than my old phone used to.

But trying to explain to him that while he can hear me, i couldn't hear him ( he's also kind of pants at actually HAVING conversation with me) so yeah, of course it MUST be me not the damn phone that is now randomly refusing to do much of what a smartphone should do.

which is why I won't touch the RIM blackberry "playbook" tablet with a thousand foot pole. Oh no way.

Sigh, the gaydramaboy is fu-reaking over the new dictator mayor of Toronto wanting to scrap millions and millions on a current transit expansion for subways. the mayor laughably thinks he has this power, and so what if it fails, the burbanites who voted him will get no new transit for a very long time, and they can also take the bill for the cancellations.

And I can enjoy my tram/subway/bus access at my doorstep.Want more cars? sure. You can have your DVP and 401 gridlock, chumps. you voted MR bye bye gravy train. You got what you wanted.

Sigh..

Anyway. 3 days to moving day and now in the stages of "random items going into boxes". Should be entertaining. I have wrenched my foot and it makes walking vaguely unfun.

I've been getting the brain itch to work on the ol vampy novel again, but I think save for a few really good bits, the rest from scratch, and its sufficiently brain-itching that I might make use of a few afternoons in a starbucks across the street. ( less distraction.)

The elevators here, still down to 2, sometimes the third, but more and more, I am not so nice when someone's using their stroller as a battering ram. I'm counting down the times I have to use that damnable thing.

Saturday I take me, dog, and a few things to the new place, R coordinates from this end. We're trying to get ALL the stuff in one room, and ready for fast loadout, which it should be. The furniture's about the most gnarly, the couch really.

Monday, r's sister visits so we have scant time to unpack, return the frogboxes and be ready. But again, not impossible.
