Had a second interview, different place, today. Another damnable group interview, as in, a group of US with the interviewer. Yarggh. Anyway. Again, as well as you could reasonably expect. In my favor, the proximity of the place to where I live, and being able to do those overnighters, is a plus.

Talked to R a bit about that whole sense of loss thing. I don't think he's honestly bothered by much, ever.

We went for brunch at a pub, then viewed an apartment that's a bit smaller than ours and has a MAAAAAASSSIVE kitchen. Plus: massive kitchen, close to transit, close to kick ass grocery store, short walk to the waterfront, dog friendly, HUGE fitness/social center with yes, its own 2 lane bowling alley, squash court, pool, karaoke room and juice bar. It's rather ridonk, but hella cool.

Downside: wee apartment, and where would my workspace go? the kiln, esp. We don't have much, but it does mean we'd have to get a vaccuum, and probably a proper bed and use current modular bed/sofa in the main room. And its in a kind of weird location, right next to the skydome.

We go to see another place on monday. We have PLENTY of options at least. I mean crazyoptions.

Found some more proper dutch choc sprinkles, at the market nearby the place. That's a bonus. foodbasics is ok, but it is really "FOOD BASICS" and if we want, we have a "no frills" nearby.

Not exactly inspiring, culinary wise.
