Renovations, roachytowers style.

( it should be Noted that I haven't actually SEEN a roach since around may, when the dipshit stoner dude and his girl moved. at least none in our suite for a very long time.)

So someone at RoachyTower HQ had decreed that we should get our lighting fixtures all upgraded. OH YAY.

By the time 2050 rolls around we'll have a 2010 modern standard building.

OK, so they got rid of the gnarly faux chandelier light.Good...

BUT.

The fixtures are this ultra thick frosted glass with weaksauce light bulbs so the actual effect is dubious at best. I mean, crazy. Surely they picked such heavy glass for durability but as far as light-shedding ability? Our interior lights have coke bottle glasses, with frost. I cannot WAIT To see how this looks when the sun goes down.

And for whatever reason there's now a noticeable second delay in flipping the switch and the light going ON in the washroom.

Saw they've started replacing some stoves and tubs that are utterly rusted through. I wonder, whatever could have lit the fire under their ass to get on maintenance, and yet, they're STILL HALF ARSING IT....
