off to take sera to the vet. I'm slightly irked by the halifax vet saying this dog is overweight. Uh, she has not a fat roll upon her. I kind of think it's par for halifax i guess.

We'll walk over, it's only a 10m walk. Sera was perky enough yesterday but today she's still looking listless, won't eat.

by the time we get to the vet she'll be all "HI GUYS!"

I don't think it's anything serious, might be nothing at all but she's also overdue some vaccinations too.

Took Sera to the neighborhood vet today. It's about a 15 minute walk from home, and she just trucked along enthusiastically, and energetically, unlike anything I've seen out of her in DAYS.

She got some blood drawn, and a thermometer in the butt, and her eyes and teeth checked. Apparently she has Halitosis of Satan, made tricker by her decided unlike of chewing, so perhaps we'll resort to a doggie toothbrush proper.

Vet said there'd been a few cases of listless dog lately, but felt she had a fever and so we have antibiotics to start early to sort out whatever is troubling dog. She's not exactly her bouncy self at the moment.

Got her to eat some canned gooshyfood, which is the most she's eaten in almost 2 days. We'll give her the antibiotic tonight and hopefully that's all the issue.

Got the digital pic from the magazine photoshoot, and they only used the wallet chains, oddly. I'll prob. buy the magazine ( it's a print on demand) and scan in the pix. but they do look good.

And got invited back to the fair we did in nov, but it was so blah we're opting out. I am however, pleasantly chuffed at how simple it is to network, go on, opportunities abounding. Its just so much EASIER than vancouver, that I can't really describe. nearly effortless, really!

Between Dcon and a major custom project, i think I can tuck away about 1/3 of my trip costs. Aiming for a minimum and anything over that is gravy, really. It doesn't include the use of any CC while I'm away, though that will be available.

We booked the last bit of travel arrangements to Vegas. Due to the unpredictable bus and the time of that flight to Vegas we'll go to Buffalo a day ahead, and stay at what looks like a mad cheap but nice hotel. Tomorrow, I'll probably go down to eaton center and try to find a new swimsuit, will need it for at least Vegas, and hey I can use it on this trip too. ( and my old suit is SO old.)

Should go work now. Do some hackies, work on some bracelets and bookmarks.
