Sometimes molecular gastronomy is wierd ( ie foams, which look like heaps of spittle to me) but this is freaking cool.

Wonder if the process would work with a micropipette? Dang tempted to get my own and try sometime.

score at MAC: Patina, and retrospeck eye shadow.
Score at Sears: new boots, almost the same as my prev pair ( same label, same size, black and brown instead of black/grey, and on clearance,) a pair of hoop earrings and a wee fishy pendant/charm. ( going to make a chain and attach the ones I have, a skull, a dragon from Cardiff, and the new fish one.)

Feeling a bit oogy and tired. Eaton Center had the heat on "hades". Ergh.

In order to be naturalized as a citizen in holland, one needs to pass a language and culture assessment. Found that info last night, including a heap of information via the Nijmegen site that seems extremely welcoming of expats and such.

So armed with that, and slowly learning scientific terms in dutch ( wetenschap: science) and a podcast on singular/plural grammar today. I've slacked off seriously.

Going to start doing heavy duty chem review and when I get to the issues I'm stuck on, hire a tutor, THEN do the credit classes. ( here, they're two standalone classes, not a full term, makes more sense to me.)

I might soon find some dutch kids books and get some practice that way. I'm already able to pick out basic words and phrases, at least. I don't find the pronunciation all that baffling but I grew up hearing the accent too.

Tomorrow, might go to U of T to find a workbook both R and i can use.
