Aug. 1st, 2009 09:40 amSo I guess I'm a morning person now?
I did not expect to be awake at 9 am on a saturday, i slept badly last night because of my back and the crashing heat today.
We're off to Chinatown today for lunch and some supply shopping for dragoncon.

Reading some UofT stuff and it sounds like you take a major and 2 minors, or a major and a specialty, or 2 majors. This works very well for the path I had in mind. I have yet to dig out where there's some oceanography/marine bio like courses, but there's a slog of ecology and conservation stuff. I know its THE hot in field now but I also don't see myself as some kind of frothing at the mouth eco crusader hippyfreak either. Will have to read through the catalog and get some ideas and send an email and see if Dutch could be the second language they accept for the european studies program. ( at very worst they say no and I do german, which is SO similar it's laughable, or I do that program as a minor and carry on. ) So many decisions. SO much choice! eeeeeee.
I had a massive fit of homesickness for holland again last night. R had a point, we have family and basically a "second home" there that means spending time there like my grandmother already does, is a possibility. Become a dual nation family. Who knows. I do know it's where I really want to be. And so even if I can't use dutch for credit, I'll learn it anyway because we plan on going next fall, and it'd be nice to be able to speak SOME dutch this time.
