The language theory of Stupid

It's very well possible, we guessed, that people here could be just as stupid, but with the insane mix of languages OTHER than maritime english, one's not forced to hear stupid, well, at least not understand it.

Suits me. Tho it doesn't really explain london or cardiff, does it? Or do delightful accents make people sound smarter? Nah, there was one doofus at the hostel that was the exception.

People are much easier to deal with when I don't have to understand the dimwittery that may fall from their lips.

We have a tendency to plonk ourselves in this sort of area. Much like DTES/Gastown, but I find overall people are generally more decent, where living at Park Vic, viewed as "posh student/senior" housing was mostly that of dickheads and people throwing shit off their balconies.

The photo on the right? is from the top of the tower we're in, the Winnepeg. not my view, that seems to be the other side.

Automated Ghost

I've discovered one peculiar thing since relocating to the "big city".

I cannot, for the life of me, get automated doors, hand dryers or sink taps to activate. No amount of hand motion I do trips the sensor.

It's aggravating, creepy and almost amusing in a "ok, how can I use this ability for nefarious purposes and profit?"

( it's much like, if Im in an event or group and 57 people have cameras and are snapping away, I'm almost never on any shots.)

Are the sensors dead or do I just not trip them? Grar.
