Jul. 4th, 2009 03:29 amIt's 3 30 am. I should probably go haul some garbage down ( this is a never ending thing, really, not because we never took it out, but ruthless purging of one's life leads to this.) , while the elevators may not be so damn busy now.
We reduced what we had when we moved into the hippyhovel.
And then again when we moved into the basement at David and Johanna's, a smaller space again.
And then again when we moved into the Loft in gastown.
AND again when we moved from Vancouver to Halifax.
What we now own fits in the back of a VAN.
( and we were tossing dumpsterloads with each move, which astounds me, to be honest.)
I do have to admit, doing one HELL of a purge of stuff feels fantastic.
Picked up the pendant mold from the casting guy, and tomorrow, email some address change notifications out, pack the kitchen and remaining stray stuff, do some cleaning. The bathroom just needs a mopping, the kitchen a basic cleanup, and a sweep/mop or comb/vaccuum of the rest and we're done.
Sounds like lots, but overall, it isn't that bad.
