Apr. 2nd, 2009 02:14 amGlad that tooth is getting the yoink. Now it hurts, since I cracked it further when they were Xraying it. AUgh.
Found a list of universities in the UK/Wales that have marine bio/oceanography masters programs. I'm not expecting to ever work in biochemistry or molecular bio, but I think I definitely lean towards oceanography and conservation stuff. ( yes, like every hippie in the land, right?)
Sleep calls. Things to discuss with advisor, a lecture, then a quick tooth yanking. Going in stone cold sober, no ativan this time, gods help me...( I think I'll be ok.)
There's some other side benefits to doing my masters outside canada, oddly. ( like not being legally allowed to work more that 20 hours), this term's working FT and going to school essentially FT? a disaster.
Anyway. It's all hazy. We'll know more once I take a term off, and go to a university that isn't made of suck.
