Apr. 1st, 2023 12:02 amThe 21 day prednisone didn’t really alleviate much and at today’s derm appt he offered cyclosporine, a stronger immunosuppressant but the side effects of possible kidney/liver/blood pressure/cancer, i’m like no, we are not doing this one.
He keeps pushing a sedative antihistamine on me and i tried one dose and it scrambled my brain in a drugfog for days. I mean, SSRIS and anxiety drugs don’t really meld with me and i never liked feeling altered. so… we’re kind of back where we fucking started.
And then the fucking weather set off my asthma, so i’m like am i fucking dying here? no. just ALL the things. i felt fantastic, hives aside, in Arizona. I’m not kidding myself that covid probably kicked my lungs around and with the weather as absolute shit as it is, i’ve not gotten active like i should.
It was one of the coldest, drizzliest, greyest marches in some decades. The rain this month felt unceasing, the wind just did not fucking STOP.
I’ll get by. i’m only 49. I can get this together.
but it’s been a rough few months health wise.
