Dec. 31st, 2013 08:51 pmMy cousin L messaged me today to ask "why is Kim so negative?" ( kim is my sister). I said Oh dear, what now? Was she miffed that Stirling was a bit "star of the show"? Nope, more a general lament on her FB page that "shit keeps happening to her and she had an awful year."
Yes. Because having a job that affords you the ability to buy your kid an ipad and name brand clothing and damn near all he ever wants, and a supportive partner while you deal with a bad ex, and your kid is "SO AWFUL".
Spoiled shit doesn't know suffering or "bad". She's had it so good, so easy, for so long. This year I nearly died having a kid, I lost two friends to liver failure, another friend is unemployed and the other is in a messy divorce. Her friends? House! car! mexican holidays! OH the woe of it all.
So yeah. we had a laugh because honestly if "stuff keeps happening to her", a lot of it is her own making because she doesn't even remotely make good decisions. She just floats along waiting for things to happen.

Was at a store today waiting to try on pants when this woman burst out of the change room she was in, looks around frantically and demands of me "Its that YOUR baby?!!!" I replied, yes, always has been. She mutters something about her husband has the kid and blah blah and he's right behind me with a black and orange front-facing stroller with an infant girl. Lady dumbass seems to have assumed DumbDaddyo left their kid with a stranger and fucked off? I dunno. Nutbar.
(on the other hand I wish R would PLEASE get it through his head that Stirling bawling his eyes out is HUNGRY. Every damn evening I sneak in a nap that's blown to bits 30 min later by Stirling crying his eyes out because Dad's slow on the food-crying uptake.)
Anyway. Got a neat pair of pants, grey with pink stripe, and the funky shoes and coat from the other day. trying to expand my wardrobe beyond studio T shirt and jeans.
ok, off to walk dog, hoping S conks soon because he's been just a raging fidget crabass on and off today. Something's just NOT right in his world today.
