Nov. 2nd, 2013 10:23 pmeaton centre is down so many elevators now that it's a chore to venture inside. I seriously don't know why an elevator in this city has to be out of service for weeks or months but it's pretty common here unlike most places I've ever been. Its a weird TO thing?
That and how many people don't grok how to use one, and somehow in my building they huddle against the farthest corner and when the doors open and no one exits, you start going in, and then blammo! out of nowhere, there's people exiting. Where did they come from?
Busy ish couple days. Met pam for coffee when my previous plans fell awry, which was ok, and then friday to the new aquarium with Kris, and much fun. and fin. Got an annual pass, because it's fairly easy to get to, and can be another winter diversion for sure. Bug spent a lot of time seeming to LOOK at things. He was so chatty. Good times.
Just rocked him to sleep watching criminal minds. Finally he's OUT. He's hit some kind of growth spurt, either body or mentally because he's just ravenous and wired all the time, and when he zonks, he's DOWN.
I've been replacing sleep with food. Erk. Eating these days like whoa but given the exertion of pushing a some 30 pound stroller around the city for 4-6 miles most days, I guess yeah, I'm hungry.
Bug is now crashed cold, so time for me to get some writing done. Tomorrow, studio day where if I finish my ring's sanding and polishing, I'll stay and work on some design stuff.
Really looking forward to the calgary trip. bug's first flight, and seeing great-oma and oma! and family and friends. Oddly not stressed over flying with an infant. He's fairly easy and likes to nap on our laps anyway. It should be just fine.
