Oct. 20th, 2013 09:32 pmTwo days at the studio. Hollow formed ring is mostly shaped, the bezel setting is pretty much ready, the inner sleeve it needs is started. People are still working on the copper model you had to hand in to get your silver. I'm looking at being near finished.
Built a bezel for a stone for a pendant for my mom but oddly when it came to soldering it TO the pendant plate itself...no go? weird. Cut a slew of metal yesterday for etched cuffs. i got a lot of work done. I never get as much as I'd like done, but I also don't have 8 hrs at my bench. So we do what we can.
I'm exhausted tho. Not so much the Bug, but my achy joints make it hard to sleep lately and I've been GUNNING the coffee. Then I come home and garbage isn't out, dishes not done, laundry not done, bottles not washed, dog not fed or watered and the boy is in a too small onesie unbuttoned and one sock and a diaper.
I know he works 8 hrs a day but just once in a while I'd like to see him NOT leave a trail of disaster to pick up after, I have my own mess to contend with but add in the boy, and dad and I'm the prime disaster-relief person.
I almost had to cut the boy out of the 3m onesie he had on today. Gads. He's not chunkychubbo either, he's quite long and lean. ( aside from epic chub thighs and a buddhabelly)
