(no subject)

Studio day, got there almost when it opened at 10 am, and stayed till 3 when it closed. The time ripped by, and I got most of my first assignment done, got further in the final finishing stages than I hoped to, and rolled down and started cutting and filing two pendants with cabochons ( a rose quartz on one, moonstone on the other), and the bezel strip partly made to set them. I worked FAST. I multitasked. I sliced a massive cut in my finger and kept on working.

I get two, maybe three days a week there, so time is short. But its good to be back at the bench.

Tomorrow is word on the street and my booth there. We're pretty much packed and ready to walk the 4 blocks over to the site.

Stirling is holding his head up better and better by the day and we swear we're in the pre teething stage, he's chewing on R's fingers and I suspect he'll be an early teether. His appetite is non stop these days and I think he's hit another growth spurt.

Finally getting the last of the steri strip tapes off my incision. I'm about 90% back to my normal self again, my appetite has gone from "eat everything in sight" to a more moderate diet.

Things are slowly returning to normal or whatever passes for normal in our madhouse.

hoping this week to resume writing, if I can sneak in an hour a night while bug is sleeping....
