Aug. 7th, 2013 05:53 pmTook Stirling out for lunch and coffee with a friend. He had a brief meltdown in Starbucks but a short walk and he was zonked while Pam and I ate lunch. It was so good to get out of the house.
And this afternoon was naptime at Casa Nico, R, me, Stirling, and the dog all zonked.
C sec scar is healing with the help of antibiotics. I'm in my size 12 jeans and realizing I need size 10's before dcon. SIZE 10. From a size 16 to a size 10. Pam was "holy crap you really lost a ton of weight, and muscle too." yep.
Still have this post preg headache that isn't epidural related I think, but shattered sleep and hormone and stress related.
20 days to dcon. I think I'll be in ok shape by then. My recovery seems to be picking up a bit. Still, anticipate post vendor hours short naps to recharge. It'll be good.
Stirling sleeps well thru the night which makes a huge difference, we split the feedings so we can get some longer un interrupted sleep. We still have the mid evening meltdown tho. argh.
And judging by our scale the extra feedings/increase he's finally packing on weight. stupid feeding guidelines and having no clue at first HOW to feed him....argg.
The worst for me is mental boredom at the moment. When I was sick I didn't have the energy to do much and now that its returning, it has brought its friend boredom.
