Apr. 14th, 2013 03:41 pm26 weeks and 12 to go....
Got some baby stuff yesterday, took a walk with R, and on friday lugged home a hugely heavy backpack of tools and books from the studio. Ow. But activity is good, this is stuff I could have only thought was impossible not too long ago.
Wrapping up both classes this week, and next week is bench checkout. I made it. I didn't miss a single class of production, and only 2 of the careers one.:D
Eating...well..I am. snacking, meals, nausea lurking and stalking now and then.
Once class is wrapped up its novels!! and dcon merch to make. That and getting ready for the wee one, whose name we've pretty much got set, will make the weeks go by. My mom got the early scoop on the name, she loves it. (she would)
Yesterday was picking up some clothes at sears ( sale of course!) and a bottle warmer and some bottles, because its part of the feeding plan ( either me, or expressed milk or formula on occasion) so we're starting to get THINGS. Next up, co sleeper and stroller, some small things like bottles and crib sheets and oh, crib...but that's something we can possibly muddle by without till we move to the larger place wherever that may be.
Labor just doesn't freak me out much. I have minor moments of eek but thats it. I dunno, one way or another, the kid comes out, right? I have some things I'd like to see happen and some not, but I'm mostly interested in "healthy" and the how is just details that don't matter much.
r has just left for his LONG WALK!!of fitness so I'm gonna go veg, we have laundry to do later, our stuff, wash some of the baby things. I miss my non-occupied belly these days, i really do.
Still hard to believe this one turned out. really didn't see that coming. Life would have been vastly different if it had happened ok the first time, I guess. No china, no israel, unlikely to be in Toronto, might not have suffered halifax, but I'm happy where we are and with how things are turned out.
had my first "can I touch your belly!" person. NOOOOoooOOo. Please do not, I said. Why people want to do this boggles, to be honest.
Ok, more vegetating is in order.
