nicosian: (feet!)
yes, we know you have them, wee occupant. Now stop kickin em just a bit and let me rest, wouldja?

2 more weeks of classes. 2 each. Projects almost done. Then its ten weeks to the hatching and I'm free. I really just don't find pregnancy much fun. I get my appetite back, my body back, and so what if the occupant is screaming, at least there's two of us to deal with it.

And we're well used to functioning sleep deprived anyway.

Got some bench stuff lugged home, and will continue the gradual effort of lugging things home next week too.

Ok. Ate something. Think the wee kikker ( dutch: frog) will let me sleep now? It woke me up with the force and repeated pounding.

Relented and bought maternity yoga pants today. Mostly because jeans...I still fit mine, but they don't stay up. My yoga pants are more comfy and I'm kinda all about that. I don't DO yoga, hahahaha tried, hated it.

But the wardrobe needed more than 2 prs pants in circulation. R got gym pants to go with his running shoes, and so on crap weather days or work from home days he can use the gym too. Once I'm hatched of this wee beastie, I'll be on the diet/exercise plan too, and lose SANELY, the remainder of my excess. ( at this point estimated to be maybe 15 lbs once its all said and done.)

Like, hauling the 8lb of casting bronze to the school and realizing I've lost three times that weight...holy crap. It'll be easier to stick to a diet if he's on it with me, too.

Got a few pieces of baby clothing, Old navy has a huge "pirate" themed line out. I may have gotten squealy with joy. Socks, a baseball cap, a t shirt and pants. :D

We got from the registry as a gift, our diaper bag of choice. Its slick and not "MOM" looking at all. Next week we may head up and get the bassinet/co sleeper and some of the small items, we'll see. R got his tax refund, for the last two years and its knocking out some debts and being plonked in savings for the most part.

Still duking out with the nausea, it just seems to have resurged somewhat and critter is sitting high, pushing on my stomach so I can't eat much when i DO eat.

Two final projects to wrap up for this term and I'm off for the summer and back again in fall with a vengeance. Only 13 weeks to go, but I'm so fucked miserable if they offer induction at 37 I'm ON it. ( or induction whenever, really). Odds are, like most women with severe HG, this kid won't be a 9 pounder, 6-7 seems to be the norm.

R is off racking steps on his fitbit, and I like that he's getting out and seeing the city. Once kid is born, plonk in stroller and joining him. I still did a fair bit of walking today, at least.
