Feb. 24th, 2013 01:00 pmday three of a spell of good days.
Belly's definitely looking belly like. I am tired, so a nap, then doing a ton of laundry....
went for brunch, our third in a row. I missed it. Its nice to be getting out and being social again, its doing wonders for my mood.
I think all I will need is larger or proper maternity shirts for the summer months and a jacket, because the jeans are at least 2 sizes too big right now and I'm creeping up to 6 months. ( holy crap.)
We're discussing future travel plans, a transatlantic QE2 cruise when they're a bit older.( not the least interested in disney cruises or what have ye. hell no.) I expect a travel lull in the 18m-3 yr range due to fussy toddlerhood, but definitely china's on the to do list when they're 7 or 8. Netherlands a recurrent visit, starting at 10 months...oh yes, we're going places.
Gonna go mull over the second novel's issues and have a nap. Hoping I can get in some good writing time over the intersession break. ( term half OVER!!! only missed one class so far)
weird that I lost the 25ish lbs one is told to GAIN in pregnancy, and that at the rate I'm re gaining, I'll wind up my original size after birthing this wee beast, perhaps even a bit lighter. Most of my con-wear should fit, at least. The corsets will, they were too big last yr. I ordered em and lost some weight.
I'll still plan for some very comfy con wear,just in case. I'm hoping to avoid a csec entirely, and given how my body seems to handle miscarriage-labor, ( it really IS labor esque) I'm pretty much not concerned over the actual hatching. The second one, I was in a waiting room chair being wracked with pain and I managed and once it was done, it was OVER. So I'd rather go natural just for the quicker recovery time, not any sense of heroic granola badge of natural.
