May. 6th, 2012 11:02 pmMostly on the mend, should be in good shape for chicago.
Cover art...I think we'll give it a bit more time, and then start concocting a second plan/backup plan. dunno what. We'll see. Its frustrating but its not anyone's fault, things happen. Its just a cover.
Started packing, got to do some laundry and get a haircut, and that's about it. All my orders ready to roll. Need my fucking VISA card, so it better be in. I should have begged the damn bank to express it but by the time I had called they'd cancelled the other and left me hanging. It'll be ok. Sigh.
Get in at 1030 am. Noonish? by the time I'm at the hotel, but that does leave much of that day for getting acclimated and stuff. Should be a good time.
Ring order arrives while I'm away and it's the largest last order pre con, so I'll have stock to make, and big time. I might on the return from chicago get sheet metal and a handtorch and get to work on some assembled pieces tho. small investment. big return. do some simple set stone pendants, band rings, etc. ( and more practice anyway. can certainly USE the handheld during the year anyway. maybe extra trivets to do a couple enameling runs over the summer. )
alright. Suppose I'll get down to actual writing.
