(no subject)

Survived a metalfinishing practical. The ring I had was full of cavernous pits that needed not a sanding but solder fixing but there was NO time allotted for such a thing. I hope I don't get marked off for that, because that routine adds a whole other 30-45 min to cleanup, on top of the 2 hrs we were allotted. Wasn't remotely possible. My burnisher ( a thingy to bash metal into tiny spaces)...there wasn't enough metal to push. it HAD to be solder fixed.

Ah well. Watched prissy Taylor ( the blond bitch one) monopolize instructor time. She honestly really seems to think the profs are hers on demand. Its insane. See how well she does when her boss won't hand hold her through every task...:D

Did gemmology study, ( take the study guide, portion it out, tackle a bit a night: success!) I will do my history studying over the break so i can fucking ROCK that exam.

One other girl in the class feels the same about martha's classes as I do. Its comrades in arms some days.

Anyway. Off to do some edits. Only a little bit of work to do tomorrow. Limping towards the break, mentally. Just running out of steam these days. That exam was intense. I'm frustrated by the harder I try to do good work, the worse it goes some days.
