Jan. 23rd, 2012 10:01 pmlets just call it a monday of hell. Get on the subway platform and there's a massive crowd. Never is a massive crowd. Apparently it was the morning of "passenger assistance alarms" on every fucking train at every station which prompts a halting and staff running in to stick their head in every car to yell "IS EVERYONE OK!?" but by the time they get to your car, you could be well dead.
So idiotic, 4 train delay, the crowd was that backed up.
Then get to class late and my assignment is late so bang! 10% loss. fuckers.
Boring class on boring simple chainmaking. for the 2% that assignment's worth, NO, I won't be soldering a byzantine chain. Dream le fuck on, sweethearts.
Got general fiddly work done, went to jewelry history lab where genessa had to read out ALL her notes and tell me 6 times that there were plagues in 16th century england. repeatedly. Over and over and over. WE GET IT. Lordy. I kind of cut her off at the pass again, and ditched her to sit with others. hah. Good gods. what else can I do, she asked me if I'd written down the titles of books I intended to look up. Well. Yes. Unlike the "look this book up" paper she gave me that was naught but keywords I had already used....stupid tit.
Home: trains effed again, this time SO jam packed that I couldn't get off at college stn, and went one further to wellesley and, thought I'd hop back one, but the train at wellesley was rammed full so I walked home ( 5 blocks? its a weird spacing) feeling right fracked off because to get off at wellsley I had to basically smash my way through the crowd, as did someone else.
Our trains run in cold, but rainy days seem to fuck them something fierce.
stopped by loblaws, home, passed out dead cold, since I had no time today to EAT. R made dinner, and ate that, but we've more or less way cut back on the cola consumption. :D Love the stuff, will still always love it but...
Tomorrow metalfinishing, some time to work in the studio, batch of projects to finish with a quickness. last week's pain o rama set me back more than I'd have liked but still not feeling excessively stressed yet. Just tired.
song for the day: Virtual Descent ( well, V1rtual D3scent) I vivisect. creepydarkweird.
