Jan. 12th, 2012 09:38 pmLecture today on rivets, part 2.
That was fine, it was the SHITTY drill bit I got from TO ( tech office) that refused to so much as think of biting into the metal, so I got fuck all done. Well, ok, i started the silver leaf we have to polish for one class, ( and its mostly done) and the wax ring. I'm still considerably further along than quite a few. Work fast, kiddies....
I'll probably come in on the weekend to clear the decks on the rivet work and whatever else. They're due not next week but week after but hey, why not just finish em up?
Harper the dead eyed jesus freak is again modelling himself on the "if I kowtow to other countries, they'll LIKE ME" the man and his cronies seem to think our equal rights are such a bother, and the whole "moar prisons for all the unreported crrrimmes!" thing isn't going down like he expected. Newsflash: Harper isn't the Dictator of Canada, folks. This was the action of one judge, and I forsee that the judge has kicked open a can of great gay worms.:D
Explained to a few that while I don't "LIKE" working with G, its better than working with most of the others who are floundering and unprepared at the best of times. Picking the battles, you see....
Got some small tools, and new drill BITS OH YAY, and will try to get more work done in the work period tomorrow. once I get back into the groove, I shouldn't actually have to come in every weekend, but I will probably do more than last term so I can do Dcon merch.
Today's song, while mentioned at the start of the project in passing, gets placed here:
Wynardtage: The Grey Line. Its the inspiration for the book's title, and it suits the MC so well, and it's gorgeousness. Alas, the band/project is no more, which is a shame. Ahh well better something than nothing, right?
Novel: just doing the fine tuning typo chasing, and tiny edits.
