Dec. 10th, 2011 10:09 amSo yesterday had my kick ass beta reader mow through and do a line by line check and edit, and highlighted some awesome stuff and things that need work.
overall, I'm really really happy with what I've done, what he did for edits ( dude rocked it), and the finished work will be, I think, pretty amazing but I might be way biased.There's great big awesome scenes and some throwaway interaction with characters and dialog that just leap off the page. I am happy with how this evolved.
Off to the studio today: recut and remake a bail ( I cut the first one WAY short) and saw the front piece pattern in, and solder the frame and the front of the pendant to the frame. If I get that much done, happy. if I get it mostly assembled, even better.
tonight, edit, write, study, finish my tech drawing "coloring pages" and sunday more of the same. last week of class, one month off where I hope to finish the first draft and get it ready, and do research for book 2, and get that started, and clean up the house. its a disastah.
