Not much progress made on the brass box project but given that people are JUST starting it now I'm not that much in dire straits.

We have the projects for the rest of the term, and I wish we'd get several at once a month out because this "drop a huge project with a short deadline and a minor project on a long deadline bullshit bothers me. I can't manage my time well when the brass box had a 2 week deadline, but an ingot that takes an afternoon at most gets 4. Nuh?

Will almost certainly be at the studio saturday. Lost my #3 torch tip, and the tech office was being bitchy thurs so I couldn't get a new one. Yeah, I'll fucking buy a new one, since I think the 3 rolled off under the benches. Whatev. Can't be found. The tech office woman was being a crabbass because I went after office hours to see her. Well, for fucks SAKE you were busy having some kind of closed door meeting during your hours and you're never IN that office when it is open tech office hours. nitwit.

even the second/3rd year people don't care for it. its such bull.

Add in the demo from hell, seriously that needed 2 hours of demoing? And people asked the same question over and over and over and OVER....i guess we did need a three hour SLOW DEMO.

someone on ontd-p is whinging that I'm MEAN to people with mental health issues. Uh, sweetie,Bachmann isn't ill, she's just batshit and I wouldn't honor her with the tag of mentally ill since I think she's just plain evil and that's not illness. even the unmedicated ill in gastown made more sense than she did, on any given day. They had more flashes of intelligence and humanity.

Ah, but hey. She's not canadian. of that much a relief even if I worry if she ever got near the "fire" button she'd think it mean fireplace and "tehran, toronto, what's the diff". ( to some of the GOP we're all just flappy headed socialists with beady eyes, right?

The unmitigated idiocy that people lap up from her, those people I suspect crazy bad. Alex Jones, bad but he's not running for office so who cares what he thinks.

at least if it was mental illness there'd be a reason but in her case I think its too easy to say that, she's just not a human being. Maybe she's a slitheen. would make infinitely more sense. she's just wearing a human skin-suit whatever she is.
