off to class shortly. To get done today: finishing a piece to polish on monday, starting a square within a square sawing task, and finishing off two computer exercises.

Then downtown for jewelery supply. I could get some stuff from tech office but the line up is so long for something as mundane as blades, so its a better use of my time to get another gross of them and be well stocked.

Today was a gemmology lecture, and lab, where we got to learn to describe stones on a basic level, which is not the gemmology student level stuff but enough to buy,or sell and deal with design level stuff. I'm really enjoying it.

And wrote the accursed vista exam, leaving 4 more to go, a headstabbing affair. The techs mumble and the system is SLOW and its so many little aggravations it becomes this production.

anyway.

Got more filing done on the second polishing project, and aside from some easy reading/review,I have a weekend to my own other ventures.

I'm still battling my inner editor to write HORROR and detail so tonight's task may well include getting my brain warmed up to that.

Movie this weekend with R at the lightbox, and Sera is due some vaccinations, and I realize I need a doc's appt before we depart, to get some refills and I don't THINK we need any vaccinations but I'll ask.

I think it's wise to reserve my weekends for non school stuff as the days are so busy and intense there that i'd wind up fried by wednesday.

OH. and i locked my keys in my locker, nessesitating a third cut lock ( two of which were MINE). Arggh.

Ok, off to write. The more I do that the more that burning creative fire is tamped down to a manageable level. it seems to be set at 10 these days, and its all I can do to keep up with the ideas spilling from my head.

I love it. I love my program, argggh's aside, but it really seems to be the best move academically.
