(no subject)

got a more than respectable 1500 words written. was just shy of 1200, when R was "hmmm its not a round number" and then another brief stint that dropped 300 more words in.

I'm so very very happy with it, it feels solider than past attempts, it feels like its a matter of walking it through to the end rather than a massive canyon of "how do I get there from here?" to the end.

Of course I wake at scaryoclock in the morning fighting massive googly eyed spiders in my sleep and near screaming.( R persists in this crawly hand thing that freaks me out...Imma just gonna punch him if he forgets how much I hate it, because it almost invariably triggers the whole nightmare cycle when he does.)

Coffee, then crawled back to bed. Phone rang around noon, with Dramaboy wanting to know if I'd accompany him on a temp gig delivering icecream tomorrow, and uh, no. Spending time in a car is not pleasant for me, so no.

Have a plan for the things i need to do before con, and once we go find lunch, I think i'll get back to more words today and maybe finish a nio necklace later. ( might also do a new bracelet chain for my medic alert ID, so I can have a few to pick from.)

Dog did a stealth hork, walked up behind R and BLERF! usually we get a warning. Today, no warning.

Ok, huge chunk of con-stress gone. got flight. Even got Em with me, which is beyond fucking cool, and I'm really now starting to feel the con-yay! thing.

Supplies on the way for last rounds of stock prep. A few days before i go, get haircut and probably do some kind of wild dye job as me showing up with blonde hair just confuses people.

Will sort thru costume bins and probably pick up much needed items right before.We're on a grim tight budget this month paying off MY amsterdam costs and R's dental costs.

I might just zip together a simple skirt, will look thru my fabric bins for inspiration.

Tonight: writing.

Once I get back from con, its classes, I miss the first day so i'll deal with that just before i go...and then two weeks later chelsea visits, and then mid october, off to china.
