Jun. 20th, 2011 02:44 pmCant wait for the huge Loblaws supermarket to open. Currently our options are a Metro thats so crowded and tiny that its hand to hand combat to get through, and a Sobeys with dried, bruised produce. Both 24 hrs but still kind of a freaking hassle.
We have SO many people living in the downtown core, especially where I am, that these two stores and shoppers just can't keep up. It was the same with Nofrills. Its not uncommon to see entire shelves stripped bare. Of course no one really hires stock clerks ( shoppers doesn't, they've gone to the multitask model of "run fucker run" for staff duties).
Anyway. Soon. And hopefully grocery shopping won't entail needing armor and a big stick.
