Feb. 22nd, 2011 09:08 amoh yeah, and going to the gym is easy when it's 9 floors down ( a 1 minute commute) and the pool isn't kept at a "freeze yer nuggets off" chill. Its comfortably heated. Cold pools SUCK. The only other place I swam that wasn't bonechilling was a Ballys in Hollywood and the South Point in vegas ( which would very obviously not be ice cold).
downside the Bally's was shallow and vaguely grey-water ish.
I might invest in a few more swimsuit pieces because after around 60-80 swims/ 4months the chlorine just destroys the spandex. This I know. Mind you, brittania pool in Vancouver was HEAVILY chlorinated, this one not so much.
Well, ok, usually not. Last night the water was oddly...murky. Like someone had dumped a couple gallons of milk in.
