dragoncon 2010 part 1
Sep. 8th, 2010 08:18 pmThe third go round for vending. And we had A LOT of merch.
Travel there was good. Lugging 6 pieces of luggage between us: three suitcases, a photo backdrop stand, and our carry ons, was a challenge, but we got it.
Basically getting to the hotel is standard bog boring, and I'm glad to get to the hotel a day early before con madness starts, we got to have a leisurely dinner at Velocity, and then do some work.
Thurs am: off to the fisharium, and much fun ensued.
Got to the hotel, and then down to the hall to start prepping. Massive task, but a trip to Target solves most of the issues for the display.
We decided to avail ourselves of a spare table and set it in an L shape booth but turns out people don't step IN to them so we probably lost a wodge of sales on that experiment. Ah well. We set it back to rights the next day.
