5 weeks to go.

This week is wrapping up wallet chains mostly, and starting the final batches of hackies. ( I need another 20 or so.)

I have my enamelling set up order ready, and getting a batch of pendants done, I expect will eat up a week. I will pre sketch out some, so that I have ideas ready to roll. Should be good, should cost around 15-25 each.

I have some dice bags and hairsticks to do, but not anticipating any delays there.

Copper necklaces, at this point any extra is just icing on the cake but I should get another 10 or so done easily.

Other necklaces: well, we're working on it!

Bracelets: rather under stocked but they also don't sell hugely, so I'll make a few more and that's good enough. ( I dont know why they don't sell.)

An order goes in shortly for hair clips, and for a batch of large star keychain fobs.

My corset order is in, and I have a wee bit of shopping to do, and get a haircut, oh hells do I need a haircut.

All said, I'm feeling the pressure, but also, we're way ahead compared to last year even. So I can't really complain much.

We may not have the best luck in say, lotteries or babies.

We do have luck in avoiding riots, earthquakes, hurricanes and probably, coups.

R has luck. In winning trips. A few years ago it was a text to enter, for a trip to Los Angeles, hotel, spending, airfare, and today, he says he won a trip for 2, airfare and hotel, to Israel ( either tel aviv or jerusalem, I confess on first look the hotel overlooking tel aviv harbor's the first pick!)

So yeah.

Dunno when, he's tapped all his holiday time this year, but early next year or we'll piggyback it onto my europe jaunt which will mean I'll be living out of a suitcase for 13 weeks but HEY....

It wasn't even on our list of wish to travel, he just entered at the ROM dead sea scroll exhibit and won.

The lesson is: yes, people win those things. My cousin won a trip to Germany when she was 17.

(another cousin just got back from Kenya. We're very much a globetrotting family the last few years.)
