we walked over to parliament st,to catch a bus and stopped at a coffee shop that was rumored to have fab coffee.
they do, but the pretentious fucking hipster who muttered under his breath "pet peeve right there' when i set my spoon on the counter to get taken to be washed, can go suck on a firehose. Dude: there's no dirty spoon repository and you'd parked your useless ass in front of the SINK so I couldn't hand it to the guy doing the washing up.
verdict: unlikely to visit anytime soon if they have staff hanging about off duty muttering at customers. ( possibly I might drop a kindly email, because it was quite a twat move.)
Off to queen St, and I lead R to Prague, a restaurant Doc Jess told me about and we snarfed heavenly foods and stuffed full, oogled OTHER PLATES of equally gorgeous dinners.
Hit some bead shops for earring bits and more coffee at a much better indie place that treats customers fantastically.
Lots of walking today and major tendonitis in my knee, so tomorrow will be loafing about with icepack and tensor bandage to bring down the serious hurt.
At least the arsenugget to decent folk ratio here is infinitely smaller, for which I'm grateful!
