I am obsessed. I used to LIVE on my bike growing up and I found myself really drawn to the sheer use of bikes in Holland and how non car dependent the place was.
We owned a car once, it was a HASSLE. An expensive, wasteful, pain in the arse hassle.
Granted, my family HAVE cars but mostly we walked. We drove to one point and WALKED. There was none of this little driving hop hop hop between points.
The freedom was awesome.
Anyway. Yeah. They'd never catch on here, they're pretty unwieldy for a city like toronto I think. We still have issues with non car dependent transport. TTC is great but we have a long way to go.

Met up with rentboy today, who's been in bit of a rough patch.
Sera's feet got overly cold again, and most dogs here sport booties. Though the one outside starbucks was gleefully pulling his off waiting for his owner.
