(no subject)

I've been keeping up with the dutch study for the better part of a month now, at least 30-45 m a day and lo, i think it's starting to stick.

if I could get my head around verbs ( and they're easy in dutch, not a whole lot different than english) I'd be rocking at least the reading and writing. Speaking...well...yeah that will have to come with immersion and practice, so I'm not overly worrying myself on that. This weekend I think I'll just go buy a copy of the dutch grammar I'm using from the library so I can start walking R through some lessons. I need to pass the NT2 lev 2 course,before getting accepted for a masters, if I read correctly, where he can continue learning at a lower level. But in 3 years I suspect I can grasp a lot of the language. It's really honestly not that hard. I can't yet figure out why people say it is? Perhaps because I've heard the accent and bits of it all my life?

Did a ring order, and laid about the house in ye old monthly crushing pain routine. It's getting SO old. I need better pain management.

Friday: make some earrings, and try another stretchy bracelet pattern.

And my arm has recovered from the shot, that was the worst of it, the hurty after! Anyway. Its nice to not be concerned over some infectodude sneezing on me on the subway or what have ye.

Ech, if the visa payment's gone thru, I'll go over to the Uni bookstore tomorrow, and to the library.
