Weird stuff I have had to say online or in person:

"all hail the crocoduck. "

And asking R what he wants from my trip to Vancouver: a salmon! he says. A live one. I say there's no scuba suit for fish. Besides, where would the poo go? " in bag with some gravel." replies R.

Add in "please don't dangle the lizard out the window." Which is pretty self explanatory, right?

Ring order 1 arrived so I'm off to downtown. Just as well, because I think I need some warmer fall/winter wear, lest I turn into a freezepop.

( at least the worst of winter here is jan/feb and fairly moderate at -7, that is, 20F,) no long grinding cold winters like halifax where it lags on till may. That sent me over the edge, the Jan/feb dark drearing soul sucking cold.

This is a bit chillier than Nijemegen and cardiff in Feb. Still, some winter layers are in order.
