I grabbed an icraft account with my business name as a "placeholder" but they charge way too much for listings, for way too little traffic so I left it as it was.

However, some people are using it to spam me with offers of their great marketing classes mistaking me for a newbie seller. I had to resist the urge to tell them to fuckoff.

Even worse is Icraft seems to condone this crap. Uncool.

I got an email that was shades of some kind of shamwow pitch, and it was written by someone with "26 years of marketing experience" which means I guess "can't write a damn email with any sincerity, you douche."

Etsy might have some massive flaws but they're relatively cheap and have a strict no spam policy.

Took out trash and the two dead airbeds, cleaned my gmail inbox, picked a few more books to deposit in the communal room downstairs.

Off to mail some stuff, and shortly, sleep before I work the zombie shift tonight.

Dead microwave is ready to go out and I should take some extra mugs/plates down to the communal room too. The paring down, it begins anew.

Knitters on my f-list:
I have a copy of Stitch N Bitch, and a matching knitting journal for sale,
Copies of Interweave Knitting ( I'll have to sift through and see which I do want to keep)
Some yarn that will be sorted down and bundled

I'm paring down my knitting supplies, to just the bare essentials I want to keep. The rest: at a fraction of what I paid, plus shipping ( coz it's halifax).

Sometime next week I'll make a monster post listing this stuff.

My next dragoncon issue: how to get some vertical height to our booth, cheaply, lightweight, preferably packable in a suitcase, and/or picked up locally in Atlanta.

Augh. The hacky sacks will all be in one big bin or something.

And postcards: do we do a large shot of the hackys in a heap, and some smaller jewelery shots with it, or a card with sterling/gold/nio pieces? ( I want brighter colors this year. we still have a heap of last years, so I don't plan on repeating the theme yet.)

doing work in batches. Hackys, then solid color necklaces, etc. Got my second ring order in, of shiny steel, bronze, and brass.

And making all the bracelets longer than my usual 7.5 inches since that was an issue.

Should start looking into the credit card processing soon too.

Ok. Off to work I go.
