A quick glance at Toronto want ads for jobs: pay is around 2-3 bucks more for what I do here.
Transit in Halifax: a pass( which we don't use but still) is going up to $70 a month, for busses that never show. I have been on the recieving end of more ghostbusses than I did in Vancouver. At least theirs were due to sheer volume of passengers, sometimes the ones here just never show up at all.
Our rent at this place is also going up. Dental costs more here. ( the same work in vancouver: at least 30% cheaper).
food is more expensive here, the great milk swindle.
I think...you need to have rocks for brains to live in Halifax. Houses now run around the 250k mark at a minimum.

I've never had insomnia issues before, so this is new to me. I need to talk with J re my schedule as I can't function on this.
R had some very good interview stuff today. Optimism abounds.
and our airbed croaked so tomorrow I guess I go get another. Off to find some sleep inducing chemicals now. A first for me, really.
