Apr. 12th, 2009 02:25 pmOn a forum I read, one die hard fundiepublican says "Happy easter, too! ( offence meant to those who don't believe in Christ!)"
Niiiiice. And people wonder why there's a "hardcore religion=asshole" connotation.
Now, I've not seen this sort of assholery from my jewish, pagan, or muslim friends.( hats off guys!) A friend on my lj states it well, if your faith is the determining part of you, then we sort of expect you to walk the walk, and when you don't, well......
It's easter sunday, and I wonder how many people are going to shit on me at work because we happen to be the only thing open. It's also no shocker, I suspect, that I was booked for one of the busiest days going. I routinely do some of the most transactions per shift, meaning "no lineups."
Someone actually groused we move too fast, and we made an error. Lady, we can't spend half an hour on your transaction, other people have lives. Boo de fucking hoo. Go to Lawtons if you want slow turtle service.
